It attaches pretty easily.  you might have to "shave" just a bit of plastic from
the top nib of the Playmobil motor for a perfect fit.

there's a motor, & i suppose that would work.  are the boat huls the same?  i've
looked at the 4669 box, but don't remember a good pic of the bottom of the
boat/motor connection.  thanks!

I don't have this set but have wondered the same thing.  I believe the hulls are
very different, as the motor seems to attach more towards the center of this
hull.  Still waiting for this one to go on clearance so I can have an official
Lego motor ;)
