Re: New version of 5827 Belville Coach

Please add picture for new set 5877 to Lugnet database. This is not a re-release of 5827 but is definitely based on it. Scan of cover (only) of instruction booklet for new set temporarily at: (URL) of the box didn't work out, it was too large for my (...)   Re: New version of 5827 Belville Coach

Finally got around to buying a 5877, they've been slow sellers down here but the numbers finally seemed to be dwindling so I seized a 20% off opportunity. Have not yet opened the box (might keep it as a present for my daughter), so set comparison is (...) (20 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.belville, lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Longest beam (2x24) in new Belville, but...

Longest beam (2x24) in new Belville, but...

The good news: In the new Belville sets is the longest brick (outside baseplates) I've seen so far: a 2x24 beam. The bad news: Its with notches at the ends (like (URL) and have PEGS sticking up (like the top of the JackStone pillars), so it's really (...)   Re: New Belville sets June 2004

(...) Thank you for finding these excellent pictures! I do think that Lego will be releasing these sets in North America, too. Last week I e-mailed them to ask about the sets, and a representative e-mailed back a day later to say that they are going (...)   Re: New version of 5827 Belville Coach

(...) These have just turned up in Tasmania (and presumably the rest of Australia). Myer Hobart (Tasmania) have heaps of them at $A39.99 each, nearly half the price of the original set. I did wonder if we were going to get them or only Denmark! I (...) (21 years ago, 10-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.belville, lugnet.loc.au)

Re: New Belville sets June 2004

(...) I think I've found some better (although unfortunately still very grainy) pictures of these cool new sets on a Czech Lego site. Here is the URL (and I hope that I've copied it correctly): (URL) look pretty good! My seven-year old daughter took (...)
