    Bye Bye Belville —Greg Perry
In looking through the new January, 2002 S@H catalog I see that the Belville offerings are down to two small sets - one each from the Fairy Tale and Beach themes. The sets are 5831 Adventurous Puppies on pg. 41 in the "More Cool Favorites for LEGO (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.belville, lugnet.general)

Re: Bye Bye Belville —Steve Bliss
(...) I wouldn't take this too seriously - the January catalog is usually trimmed down. I don't have a copy of it yet, but I'd expect (based on prior years) that Trains and Technic also have slim offerings. (...) I dunno. We'll see. I was (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.belville)

Re: Bye Bye Belville —Greg Perry
(...) Hopefully you're right. I had wondered whether it might be that Belville just wasn't being given space in this catalog but would show up in the Spring one. Just to let you know though, Trains had a full 6 pages and Technic had 4 (with another (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.belville)

Re: Bye Bye Belville —Frank Filz
(...) The "tea party" sets are quite nice. A decent supply of transparent bricks are provided. The base bricks are bright green which is fine by me. The mat in 5834 is actually fabric. The thing I'm most bummed about though is that the tea cups are (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jan-02, to lugnet.belville)

(...) Looks like the fairy-tale romance has progressed somewhat... 5836 Beautiful Baby Princess 5837 Flora's Bubble Bath 5838 The Wicked Madam Frost 5842 Vanilla's Frosty Sleighride 5843 Queen Rose and little Prince Charming 5850 The Royal Crystal (...)          Hello New Sets! (was Re: Bye Bye Belville) —Greg Perry
(...) Pete: Thanks for the info. Some of the names of these sets sound really great to me (5838, 5842, 5850) and raise my expectations that there will be some really keen new parts (or at least colors) included. The names also make it sound like (...) (23 years ago, 7-Jan-02, to lugnet.belville)

Re: Hello New Sets! (was Re: Bye Bye Belville) —Pete White
(...) They are in ascending size(value) order, so 5836 is small and 5850 is on the way to 5808. With last year's selection it did look like the theme was scratching for ideas and on the wane. A range of 6 different sized sets does hold hope for (...) (23 years ago, 7-Jan-02, to lugnet.belville)

Re: Bye Bye Belville —Grahame Reid
(...) <snipped> Don't panic yet, I have seen evidence of six new Belville sets for this year. Of course, they may not be available in all markets. Grahame (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.belville)

Re: Bye Bye Belville —Wes Loder
(...) Where have you seen this evidence? I have been watching the news groups, Web and Lugnet sites and, so far, have seen nothing. Of course, most fans act as if the only sets that really exist are the mini-fig based sets and Technic. If you know (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.belville)
