New / Interesting pieces and colors in 5826 —Dan Boger
I'm just the messanger here... :) We got 5826. There were a few interesting things, including a very small TransGreen we've-never-seen-it-before and we-love-it, that's right, the FROG!!! See pictures at: (URL) (24 years ago, 13-May-00, to lugnet.belville, lugnet.general) !

Re: New / Interesting pieces and colors in 5826 —Shiri Dori
first impressions are the best so I'll quote my first thoughts... <gawk> <gape> <drool> "that's a frog?!?!" "I love that trans-orange gem!!" "that wine bottle is cool!" <drool> -Shiri (24 years ago, 13-May-00, to lugnet.belville)

(...) Ditto. I may have to go all out and, dare I say it, buy a Belville set! Shiri, if I do, I'm tellin' you right now, all those pretty pink pieces and figs are yours if you want them. -Chris (24 years ago, 13-May-00, to lugnet.belville)

(...) Are we suggesting group purchases? One for you, one for me... I hope these parts show up in 2001 Castle sets, some of them are great. Those colors could really add some nice touches to plain colored castles... Aaron (24 years ago, 13-May-00, to lugnet.belville)

Re: New / Interesting pieces and colors in 5826 —Shiri Dori
(...) Oh dear, that would be heresy now wouldn't it? Gimme a break, hon', BV is just as good as any other lego set. Sure, the scale is tough to adjust to, 'coz you need so many pieces to build a normal-sized room... but at least the buildings and (...) (24 years ago, 13-May-00, to lugnet.belville)

Re: New / Interesting pieces and colors in 5826 —Chris Maddison
(...) Yeah, I guess I could stand it; maybe even learn to enjoy the BV sets. They do have a cool fantasy/fairy tale draw to them. I'll try, OK? ;) (...) Hmm, my dog is due for some more chew toys...;) -Chris (24 years ago, 13-May-00, to lugnet.belville)

Re: New / Interesting pieces and colors in 5826 —Aaron West
(...) Speaking of skewed, when was the last time any mini-fig set had a bathroom. Is that just repressed western culture or another space (no pun intended in the following, I'm just damned to pun per my genetics) issue? I miss the old faucets in my (...)          Re: New / Interesting pieces and colors in 5826 —Jennifer L. Boger
(...) The only thing I don't like about the bottle is that it's nearly minifig sized. The wine glasses work but I don't think this will... Again my sense of scale is off because I've been playing with too much belville and scala. :) Jenn (24 years ago, 13-May-00, to lugnet.belville)

Wait a sec, is that a lavender 1x4 brick in the pic with the lamppost? If not, what color is it? -Shiri (24 years ago, 13-May-00, to lugnet.belville)

Re: New / Interesting pieces and colors in 5826 —Charles Eric McCarthy
(...) For the longest time (2 months of playing with it) I thought it was some sort of gelatinous drumstick. Until my 5-year-old daughter pointed out it was a frog! /Eric McC/ (24 years ago, 15-May-00, to lugnet.belville)

Re: New / Interesting pieces and colors in 5826 —Shiri Dori
(...) I thought it was the wine-bottle cap or something... from the pics, it looked like a seal to me; only when I read the post (AFTER I saw the pics) I realized what 'twas supposed to be... :-) -Shiri (24 years ago, 15-May-00, to lugnet.belville)
