Re: Belville top for my Natural History Museum

Thanks, What does SPUD stand for? I assume you mean the trans-pink roof pieces right? I just love Paradisa sets. I finally got a complete 6416 (Poolside Paradise). Almost every part in there is one of my favorite parts, so I keep lusting to tear it (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jan-01, to lugnet.belville, lugnet.build)

(...) some reason I can't manage to fit them in with any of my buildings - you do a great job w/that, Brad. Maybe the pink will work better on (to be built someday) Rose's house. That'll probably be mostly white with some pink detailing, I'll be (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jan-01, to lugnet.belville, lugnet.build)

Re: Belville top for my Natural History Museum

Actually, I slapped the other top on there in desparation. I found out, at the last minute, that there was a local LEGO users group the next day and I hadn't yet finished the cafe level (the top-most floor)! I realy wanted to show it at the meeting, (...) (...) The top is much better now, the red didn't really go with the other colours. I still have to check out the interiors. pete.w (24 years ago, 20-Jan-01, to lugnet.belville, lugnet.build)

Belville top for my Natural History Museum

The original top to my natural history museum looked cool, but it was a bit too modern looking for the rest of the building. I redid it in a semi-victorian theme with a lot of Belville parts. (...) Sorry. I only have a few pics up of some of my earlier vehicles. Take a look at: www.personal.psu.edu.../m/w/mwl2/ Lego_homepage.html Will have to see what I can do soon concerning pictures of houses. Cheers, WES (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.belville, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Future of Belville

Hey, all I care about is that the parts can be used for mini-fig stuff and they are pretty cool. I trash most LEGO group models anyhow and build my own stuff. Wes Loder <mwl2@psu.edu> wrote in message news:G6nLCs.95n@lugnet.com... (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jan-01, to lugnet.belville)

First Belville took over the Paradisa themes, then, when Scala took those themes too, Belville morphed into a fairy land world of its own. I find this somewhat ironic considering that one of the original selling points of Belville was that its (...) (24 years ago, 4-Jan-01, to lugnet.belville)
