Don't forget "Universal", which was what it was called when I got my first
one of these sets. I agree the word "Basic" was more... well... Basic. :)
Excluding the 4017 and 3033 (which I view more as Bulk supplements), I would
say my favorite of these varied sets would have have been this one:

I really loved all the roof elements, and some specialized things like the
refridgerator/closet, drawers, etc. Of course, at the time it came out I
was focusing on Town, so this was a good choice.
