Re: The Wreck of the Estrella

(...) Nelson, you've captured the wreck nicely indeed. Spotlighted. Any chance of a pre-wreck version of the Estrella? ;-) Cheers Richie Dulin (18 years ago, 21-Apr-07, to lugnet.aquazone)

  The Wreck of the Estrella

(2 URLs) (When moderated)> Builder's note: This diorama was built using 2 copies of 7776 (The Shipwreck) plus a bit more new-brown parts... Okay, quite a lot more. I like 'The Shipwreck' set, but I think it's just a little too small. :) "Big Daddy" (...) (18 years ago, 19-Apr-07, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.aquazone, FTX) !!

  Re: Sea Monkey SeaShell

Very nice! I really like the concept behind this (and I'm not normally partial to organic/animal based ships). You're bringing back lots of memories of hermit crabs though... it's amazing to watch them swap shells, I assume this MOC has a similar (...) (18 years ago, 29-Mar-07, to lugnet.aquazone, FTX)

  Sea Monkey SeaShell

With the discovery of the Forsaken's Juggernaut (URL) the Sea Monkeys began to develop sea creatures for their defense. One of the first creatures that they used was the hermit crab. The SeaShell is a small recon creature with one Sea Monkey rider. (...) (18 years ago, 29-Mar-07, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.aquazone, FTX) !!

  Re: Sea Monkey Ruins

(...) Cute, nice use of rare colors, too. (...) Evil is relative. Vivasecting and enslaving Sea Monkeys is necassary for the greater good, right? I'm sure they're looking out for our best interests. (18 years ago, 27-Mar-07, to lugnet.aquazone, FTX)

  Sea Monkey Ruins

Once upon a time, Sea Monkey habitats were quite...interesting. At this one particular smarcheological* site, Professor Umglub - a noted scientist and historian - searches for buried artifacts of his once proud ancestors: (URL) The Professor's (...)   Re: MOC: Sea Monkey Sleds and Figs

Ohh...Ahhh! Very nice use of the sand blue, and great camouflage potential for all 3 models I'm assuming. Good to see you building sea monkeys. Oh and look out for Joe when he rolls up this big thick magazine no one ever reads... God Bless, Nathan (...) (18 years ago, 26-Mar-07, to lugnet.aquazone, FTX)

  Re: Sea Monkey Forsaken Stingray

Good to see you back building, and more importantly good to see what you are building! I like the concept of this, and even the use of the annoying piece, but the mere mention of stingrays always sends 'what could have been' shudders down my spine (...)   Re: MOC: Sea Monkey Sleds and Figs

(...) Well if you won't do it, then I guess I'll have to... Felix, if you don't start building and posting Sea Monkeys again soon, I will have to beat you up, tar and feather you, then post your photo on creepy singles websites! Aaron (18 years ago, 23-Mar-07, to lugnet.aquazone, FTX)

  Re: Sea Monkey Forsaken Stingray

(...) It gives me a warm fuzzy to see all this Sea Monkey action. Nice to see one of those Stingray sleds get used. Five years ago when we started this thing the pieces we had to choose from were really limited. Now it seems like there is very good (...) (18 years ago, 23-Mar-07, to lugnet.aquazone, FTX)

  Re: Sea Monkey Forsaken Stingray

The other Sultan of Sea Monkey returns! That's TWO Sea Monkey MOCs with unusual parts now! That Stingray piece works well, and I like your use of the black wings for flippers - nice detail. (...) This could be the start of the Sea Monkey Revolution! (...) (18 years ago, 23-Mar-07, to lugnet.aquazone, FTX)

Re: MOC: Sea Monkey Sleds and Figs

(...) Ahem! I said no such thing (but, I have no idea what Joe said). Nice to see you building again in this theme. I never thought I would ever see that decorated AT sandblue slope used in a MOC, but it works very well here. Good stuff! Now I need (...) (18 years ago, 23-Mar-07, to lugnet.aquazone, FTX)

  Sea Monkey Forsaken Stingray

There have been some reports from Alpha Team Deep Sea of some activity in the area known as Forsaken territory. While there have been isolated readings on the deep sea sensor grid at the Marianas Trench, there has been no sightings of the Forsaken (...)   MOC: Sea Monkey Sleds and Figs

Nelson Yrizarry and Joe Meno told me if I didn't start building Sea Monkey stuff they would beat me up. (URL) I've got some more ideas floating around so hopefully I'll get them built soon. I'd like to apologize to everyone who has made Sea Monkey (...) (18 years ago, 23-Mar-07, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.aquazone, FTX) !!

  Introducing - The MOCBox

Inspired by the feedback to my recent (URL) MOC. I played around with the large trans-clear panel piece and came up with a simple idea for a container which I call the MOCBox. My first build was in response to (URL) Joe Meno's comment> about a Sea (...)   Re: Little Aquarium

(...) I've ordered the parts on Brickshelf so I can build one of these. I guess that probably goes further than just saying I like it. :) You are an extremely talented builder, Nelson. It seems like whatever area you choose to explore you turn to (...) (18 years ago, 20-Mar-07, to lugnet.aquazone, FTX)

  Re: Little Aquarium

When I first saw this post I thought it would be a fig in an aquarium, being studied by the Sea Monkeys... Good work! God Bless, Nathan (URL) (18 years ago, 19-Mar-07, to lugnet.aquazone, FTX)

  Re: Little Aquarium

(...) Wow, that is the coolest! You never miss a detail, everything from the intake, to the gravel, way cool! Darren (18 years ago, 18-Mar-07, to lugnet.aquazone, FTX)

  Re: Little Aquarium

Hey Nelson, This is really cute. When I first saw the thumbnails I didn't reallize the tank was LEGO - I thought you'd just placed a sea monkey in a small goldfish tank. Bruce (18 years ago, 18-Mar-07, to lugnet.aquazone, FTX)

  Re: Little Aquarium

(...) Very nice! Took me a moment to figure out the aquarium - the clear parts are very well chosen! In fact, this could be changed to a Sea Monkey Environmental chamber, with some consoles outside the glass to keep sensors on the SM.... Good job! (...)
