  Re: K

Oooh, now that is nice j0n. About time we got to see her in detail. I loe how at some angles you are thinking, WTF letter is that, but then with your overhead inset pic, you say, "ahhhhhh, I seee". And the orange + dark grey is one of the best (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: K

This is my favorite one yet. Not only do orange and dk grey work every time, you did the color scheme in a very SWish sort of way, whatever that means. :-) Also dig the landing gear (yoink) and the akward angles the wings take while still looking (...) (...) than the last. I really like the landing gear, subtle greebling and overall studlessness. The way the ship balances on the 3 gear allowing the cockpit to float is very much like my Albatross, and I really like that look. You've probably (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: K

GAKK!! Oh man...I can't even start. For me, the biggest challenge of the build is to try and create lines that operate outside of the X,Y axis, yet still work. To me, this view exemplifies success: (URL) can't get over how good that looks. Just (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  O', K!

wow dk grey and orange is nice cockpit reminds me of my triumvirae (which you claim to like) the use of 3D angles keeps it from looking like a flat letter K like some of the other alphabet ships do. That design evolution is phenomenal. Way to do (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space)

  Re: K

(...) Actually. I can tell you that the similarity stems from the shape of the cockpit and how the engines are positioned at the tips of the two wings that are swept upwards. Those two features are found only on the Starfury. I think that is why so (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Great work, Jon! My favorite remains the i-fighter, though. :) For what it's worth, I wasn't reminded of the Starfury. Of course, all winged one or two person spaceships based on jet planes look *somewhat* similar. ;) But it's the small differences (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)
