I'm pleased to announce that Peeron (http://peeron.com) and BimP
(http://www.bricksinmypocket.org) have joined forces to provide LEGO
builders the ability to search the Peeron database remotely. Using a PDA
with a wireless connection you can now search for sets and inventories using
the Peeron database.
Imagine, you need a blue 1x1 brick. You locate LEGO sets on sale at your
local department store. Only, which set contains the precious piece you are
looking for? Pull out your handy dandy PDA connected to a wireless network
and use the search form below to find the answer. Obviously this feature is
limited to true "early wireless adopters," however, for those of you with
the technology, what a great feature.
In the future those without a live wireless connection will be able to
submit a request and then sync their PDA to retrieve the results. Peeron and
BimP have other ideas about the implementation of this feature, but we
welcome your suggestions.
