| | | While visiting the Georgia LEGO Outlet store today I found out that they have a couple cases of the 9709 1.0 RCX ((URL) is the 1.0 RCX with the power jack, nothing else. It is just the RCX, no software, no IR tower, no power pack...just the RCX. (...) (23 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.general, lugnet.trains, lugnet.robotics)

| | | | | Yep, these are great for running trains with power thru the rails. Perfect application for having a power jack. FYI the newer ones don't have a power jack so get'em while there hot. Considering I've been picking up whole Robotic Invention System sets (version 1.0 with the same RCX) for as low as $140, I don't see the point of spending $130 for just the (...)
