  Re: best encoding software?

VirftualDub (www.virtualdub.com) is a nice peice of software. BBmpeg is a good mpeging software. DVD's are mpeg2 at 720by 480. Try making your animation like that. Remember that your images are digital, mpeg usually works better on live video then (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jan-01, to lugnet.animation)

Re: "2001: A Lego Odyssey" - A New Lego Movie!

(...) "evolution" is perhaps the wrong word. In the novel, evolution is portrayed as a series of abrupt steps (enforced by a superior alien civilisation). They view mankind as a huge experiment. The time spent in the Victorian house (supposed to be (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jan-01, to lugnet.animation, lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

  best encoding software?

I have several hundred frames (POV rendered) in BMP format that I'd like to put into a movie; what is the best software for doing that? Best format? How are DVD's encoded? They seem to have such high quality and a small footprint. I tried standard (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jan-01, to lugnet.animation)

  Re: Studios Newbie Question

Ed, Thanks...the split clip and delete method will work. Maybe zooming in a bunch on the clip will help with finer cuts. I downloaded a freeware application called ABC Videoroll...after playing around with it for a bit I noticed that it at least can (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.animation)

  Flash LEGO movies on newgrounds.com

Hi All, It's been quite some time since I've posted, my LEGO Room is now a Storage Room (shameful, I know), but I'm starting to get back into the swing of things and LEGO movie making has started to interest me... Anyway, here's a link to some Flash (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.animation)

  Re: Studios Newbie Question

(...) Yes. Remember now that this is a kiddie app and will not give high quality results. (I dont remember the correct words for everything so I will do my best.) Select the scene in the Movie Track. Then move the blue tap in the scrub bar to the (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.animation)

  Studios Newbie Question

I just got the LEGO Studios Moviemaker set and have been playing around with it. My question is, once I film a clip, how can I cut out parts that I don't want in it? For instance, I have some extra time at the beginning and end of the clip...and is (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.animation)
