Re: Adventurers and dinosaurs in 2000 —Kevin Loch
I figured the first catalog would show up in a Star Wars set. It would probably be a 1999 set that has been in production the whole year, therefore they would be making a new run of them in time for the Solstice. KL (...) some (...) (25 years ago, 8-Nov-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: Adventurers and dinosaurs in 2000 —Craig Hamilton

I'm surprised more people haven't been talking about this here. :) I remember reading some of the earlier speculations, and I believe person suggested a dinosaur adventurer subtheme.       (...) It may have been Joseph G. Maybe Craig Hamilton. I'll check the infamous movie list thread. (...) I am hoping for the original Lost World feel.      (...) I haven't been talking about it because I didn't see the scans until two seconds ago! Lost World/Dinotopia! Yes, that was one of my suggestions as a good theme for Adventurers. Mark is probably doing handsprings. Bruce (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: Adventurers and dinosaurs in 2000 —Mark Lindsey
(...) Handsprings Bruce? Try ninja-style triple back flips. I have not been this pumped since....since....well, since TLG announced Star Wars legos. Wheeeee! This whole dinosaur subtheme has so many possiblities. I just need Sleestacks and a Chaka (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: Adventurers and dinosaurs in 2000 —John Battcock
Yes I too was thrilled by the Dino theme news, but I found the small treaded vehicle in the Shop-at-home flyer even more thrilling. I tried something similar with the treads from Cyber-Slam for my Desert Army but it just was getting to big. Woo-hoo. (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.adventurers)
