While getting ready for NELUGs upcoming train show, I
was rebuilding my Adventurers
Train. The question always comes up about how Johnny Thunder and crew
unload their vehicles track-side if they are traveling through the tundra.
The answer to the question is a Steam Crane:

The crane can pivot 360 degrees, allowing it to reach the flatbed cars
coupled on either side of it. The body of the crane is mounted on a gear
rack, allowing the crane to move along the base of the car in order to reach
the far sides of the flatbeds.
For transport, the boom of the crane folds in half, and the stabalizers flip
up out of the way.

Hi Elroy, always great to see different LEGO cranes, and I like this one! Has
got that adventurers feel to it - I especially like the steam greebling. All
the important elements of a useful crane are there, in a slightly different way
than Ive ever seen before.
Well done!
