  Re: All of those minifigs

(...) Hey, that was my plan! Guess I'll have to fall back on my plan to creat lancers with red ninjas wearing pith helmets and commanded by the Baron. Of course, with feathers added both the Johnny Thunder and Rudo Villano hats are also good for (...) (25 years ago, 27-Feb-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: All of those minifigs

I was wondering what to do with all those Johnny Thunders.. then I rented the movie " The Light Horsemen" and now I have a platoon of Aussie soldiers. (25 years ago, 27-Feb-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: All of those minifigs

I took a Rebel pilot body and the Bat Lord's head to make Smetlana Snarfskova the Free Brickistanian Cosmonaut. When she's not wearing her helmet, she's got a black ponytail to differentiate her from the other Cosmonauts. -Cheese (...) (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: All of those minifigs

The adventure minifigs, broken into composite pieces, are great for other things. I love the pith helmets for all types of period military and exploration uses. Most of the heads are useful in other themes. Most of the torsoes are good for other (...) (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: All of those minifigs

(...) Well, you could send them to me; I'll find them a good home! :) Seriously, contact me with what you've got and we may be able to develop a deal based on trade for other theme figures, or straight sale. (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: All of those minifigs

(...) In my case, try (and thus far fail) to trade them. ;/ (...) I know what you mean! My primary interest is Castle, and most of the Adventurers heads work out OK for that. Dr. Lightning's head has been transformed into the Mad Mage Cornelius (...) (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: All of those minifigs

(...) My minifigs never/rarely stay in their original state. I switch heads and hats to give my Lego community different personalities. For instance, the baddie from "Spider's Secret" had a white hat that I thought would be more appropriate for my (...) (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  All of those minifigs

What do you all do with the Adventurers minifigs you accumulate after buying a few sets? I find the models to be fairly interesting (mainly the Egyptian theme), and buy the sets based on the models. However, I now have a bunch of minifigs that I (...) (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: set 1271 Jungle Surprise

(...) Rowwwr! (...) Did this set (#1297 -- the U.S. version) just come out recently then? Haven't seen it here yet. Not too many 7-11's here in Boston, though. :-( --Todd (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.admin.database, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: set 1271 Jungle Surprise

(...) The set is copyright 1999, the treasure piece is actually gold-colored. I'm in Pueblo, Colorado, USA. Found it at 7-11 on the corner of Orman and Northern Avenues, across the street from the Convergys call-center where I work. Today I bought (...)   Re: set 1271 Jungle Surprise

(...) I'm guessing this is Adventurers set then? What copyright date is shown on the box? 2000 or 1999? Is the treasure piece really silver colored or is it gold colored? Is it the traditional Amazon-Adventurers medallion? Female fig in a $2.99 (...) (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.admin.database, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: dino-craigo-lego

Craig Dinosaurs ARE my cup of tea and you've ingeniously captured the majesty of these "thunder lizards". I like your imaginative use of parts and colours. Oh and very Stravinskyesque. The stegosaurus is especially inspirational... Henry (25 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.general)
