Does anyone have any ideas as to why it's so difficult (nearly impossible) to find set 5909? It's the set with the tan bi-plane with white wings and a little jeep-truck thing. I've managed to collect every other adventurers' set from 1998 except (...) (26 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

Hello Adventures, This is my first post to LUGNET. The Adventures line is just great for story telling and play adventures. I am really excited about the up coming Adventurers release. (...) Hey, good point about the body of the plane functioning as a pontoon. I did overlook that possibility (though I'm still not too crazy about the pontoon plane set). I just bought my third Scorpian Tracker!! The other two are the origional car,made the second one into a panel truck,the third one might have a suspension system,or what I did a few minutes I put the trucks from the train set and had it hooked (...) (26 years ago, 15-Nov-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

I have the Amazon set. I like it a good amount. I love the little skeletons and it has one suspended by a chain with a 'trap' that drops it down a shaft into the room. The bridge 'collapses' into the water with the alligator and the Aztec (...) (26 years ago, 14-Nov-99, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.reviews)

(...) bingo! yes, john, i read the novel years ago, prior to the film coming out. i'm re-reading it now for inspiration and detail to go into this current lego endeavor. the t-rex swims in the book, which is a scene that never made it to the movie.
