  ATLANTIS!

Anyone made any MOCs from the movie Atlantis? The mining vehicles are Rock Raiders meets Adventurers (two of my favorite themes), and the Atlantian ships are Aquazone meets Tunafish (one of my favorite themes and one of least favorite cracker (...)   Re: Nimbus Airship

(...) Thanks! It wouldn't be steampunk/gaslamp fantasy without lots of buttons and switches. The top piece, while it looks like some kind of ray gun, didn't really have any purpose until you asked. It turns out it's a long range, x-ray telescope. (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jun-01, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Nimbus Airship

(...) That looks like quite the air-going vessel. What fun! (...) Oh I say, Lord Corneius looks a bit familiar... could this be the dashing ancestor of Reginald Smythe of the Screamin' Balrogs? Egad! ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (23 years ago, 13-Jun-01, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Nimbus Airship

Sean, that's pretty darn groovy. I like the interior detail. So many dials, switches and knobs... oh my. I really like the gears in back. And what's that on top? Is that some kind of weapon? I've been struggling with the zepplin-esqe idea for too (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jun-01, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Nimbus Airship

Well, after a bit of a dry spell last month, I've actually finished something. (URL) call it the Nimbus. It's a steam-powered, heavier-than-air ship inspired by The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne and The Works, a card game based on the Girl Genius (...)   Re: Gabarros vs. Villano: Who's Who?

(...) Sean - thanks for the confirmation. Now I can eliminate my self-doubt about Who's Who. I also appreciate being point to the website with Adventurers mini-fig profiles. I don't think I had seen that one before. The site also helped confirm for (...) (23 years ago, 7-Jun-01, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: Gabarros vs. Villano: Who's Who?

Hey G, Your initial thoughts are correct, Gabarros is the sailor, while Vilano is the one with the pistolas and scar on his face. At least according to Chrisitan's site. (URL) who's going to argue with such a well developed site? :) Sean (...) (23 years ago, 7-Jun-01, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Gabarros vs. Villano: Who's Who?

Can anyone settle the question I have about 2 of the Adventurer mini-figs that seem to get mixed up quite a bit in "conversations" here on LUGNET. The question is which mini-fig is Gabarros and which is Rudo (Max) Villano? I think that Villano is (...) (23 years ago, 7-Jun-01, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.general, lugnet.western)

  Re: Monthly MOC: Orange racer

(...) Those are fun! I liked all of them, and the orange one is my fav. They reminded me of the old movie "It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World". -Tom McD. www.spamcake.com (23 years ago, 30-May-01, to lugnet.adventurers)
