  Re: Is this a possibility?...

(...) In Australia 1278 and 1280 are available off the store shelf (sans candy). AFOL groups should get together and organise 'sister' clubs in other countries to help with trading sets only available in certain areas, rather than waiting for Lego (...)   Re: Is this a possibility?...

(...) 1278 was released in the U.S. as 5903, and 1280 was released in the U.S. as 5904. Both were available through S@H. I don't know about the other two sets. (24 years ago, 12-Nov-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Is this a possibility?...

Okay, I was browsing through lugnet.adventurers when I remembered four sets that came out through a Japan Candy Company. (Kabaya??)   Re: next year

(...) Harry potter isn't futuristic; the first book took place in 1991. SPOILER (kind of) I found this in the second book, because it says nearly headless nick died 500 years ago, and the gravestone says the date he died. Add 500 to that and your (...)   Re: next year

(...) Ok, ok! But that was not the point! What I was saying, is that there are no new sets or themes like Adventurers, Priates, Wild West and Castle. Instead we have Alpha Team, Life on Mars(I count that as a Space subtheme), Movie Maker, Star Wars, (...) (24 years ago, 11-Nov-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

Lucas & co. did make it clear once back in the eighties that Star Wars is set in the distant past (even from our present standpoint). -- Paul Davidson, aka Tinman www.theforce.net | Your Daily Dose of Star Wars www.filmforce.net | Your Daily Dose of (...)   Re: Question about Title of 5914

...not to mention Joe Freeman alias Johnny Thunder, Linda Lovely alias Gail Storm, and so on. Kind of odd, isn't it? Arnold (24 years ago, 9-Nov-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Tiger Prediction

(...) Don't forget stingray riders and dolphin riders! Sure, they have to hold on to the animal's dorsal fin, but at least they can hitch a ride through the waves. Steve (24 years ago, 6-Nov-00, to lugnet.town, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Tiger Prediction

(...) I think that the tiger will be very similar to the bear, but with a longer tail. I put horns in the polar bear's mouth and made an albino smilodon :) What theme would they put a tiger in? (24 years ago, 6-Nov-00, to lugnet.town, lugnet.general, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Tiger Prediction

(...) We can always hope. And I *strongly* hope that it's got studs on its back. I was sorely disappointed by the polar bear's smooth back. I want tiger riders and polar bear riders! I can have horse riders, dragon riders, crocodile riders and dino (...) (24 years ago, 6-Nov-00, to lugnet.town, lugnet.general, lugnet.adventurers)

  Question about Title of 5914

After receiving my set 5914 in the mail a few weeks back, I noticed something peculiar about the title, which is Sam Sinister and Baby T. Interestingly enough, the mini-fig that comes with the set is Baron von Barron, right? I thought, and Huw (...) (24 years ago, 5-Nov-00, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2000)
