The reason for the robotics newsgroup is cover all areas of robotics: 'Mindstorms','RCX', 'NXT, etc. I am starting to feel there is 'TOO' many newsgroups (...) (...) lugnet.vikings makes the most sense to me. Personally, I don't understand the resistance to creating a new group for it. If we have lugnet.galidor, why not lugnet.vikings? I would've thought a new group for {any} new theme would almost be an (...) (20 years ago, 21-Apr-06, to lugnet.admin.suggestions)

(...) I tend to agree that .castle.vikings would be better than .pirates.vikings(though I think simple .vikings would be better then either). (...) I agree. And not simply because Lego say they are a standalone theme. Once the vikings leave their ships, they are less and less like pirates and more and more like castle types.
