Did you move to port 1119? You didn't say if you had, but if you haven't, you
might try that.

Did you try repeatedly and check that the web access was working at the time
that you got the failure? My experience has been that service is still pretty
intermittent, although maybe a corner has been turned, my last two posts went
right through.

Sorry to have bothered you guys with this. It was just me being stupid: forgot to open port 1119 on the firewall.... All's fine again now. Duq (...) (21 years ago, 29-Sep-03, to lugnet.admin.nntp)
