I've come back to Lugnet after a while away and setup to use NNTP to read the newsgroups that I like. It's worked fine for over a week and today all of a sudden I get the following error: The TCP/IP connection was unexpectedly terminated by the (...) (22 years ago, 11-Mar-03, to lugnet.admin.nntp)

Todd, I was looking up Telnet in Windows XP (haven't used it before) and I decided to try NNTP again - it worked. I don't know what was going on earlier, but I guess as long as it continues to work I'll just keep using it. Thanks for the quick (...) (22 years ago, 11-Mar-03, to lugnet.admin.nntp)

(...) Paul, Ok, cool....Glad it's not something more insidious like a low-level TCP packet problem or something like that. However, there is still an issue with xinetd acting flaky...there have been three or four times today when the nntpd daemon (...) (22 years ago, 12-Mar-03, to lugnet.admin.nntp)
