  New newsgroup lugnet.admin.finance
 
A new newsgroup lugnet.admin.finance has been created for the discussion and brainstorming of LUGNET financial aspects. Previously, this had simply been a webpage placeholder at (URL) one level above the Donations info page. CHARTER/PURPOSE (...) (22 years ago, 3-Apr-02, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.admin.nntp, lugnet.admin.finance) !!

[snip] (...) correct me if I'm wrong, but you're trying to send a message via mail, not via nntp, right? from what you posted it seems like your mail server was not able to look up the correct DNS entry for LUGNET (Failed MX lookup; try again (...) (22 years ago, 2-Apr-02, to lugnet.admin.nntp)

(...) Hmmm. Probably doesn't help much, but I just connected using Outlook Express (1st time for months!) and it was quick. Posted a message, authentication email took less than 2 minutes, message appeared in newsgroup less than a minute after (...) (22 years ago, 2-Apr-02, to lugnet.admin.nntp)
