I've gotten requests (no demands, so far) several times... I think it's
because I'm the first (or close to the first) listed for most sets I'm in.
I generally reply with about the same level of politeness as they gave me,
and tell them I'm not willing sell, but someone might be; the correct place
to ask is in lugnet.buy-sell-trade. I also make sure to point out the "no
solicitation, please" reminder.
I'll occaisionally copy Todd on my reply. Query: Todd, how *should* we deal
with these kinds of requests if we get them? Ignore them, reply, reply and
copy you, forward to you without replying, something else?

| (...) I would say don't ignore them if they annoy you. Instead, reply back and let the person know that you're annoyed. Also bcc me if you like -- that way I get a sense for how much it's happening. I think it's becoming more and more likely that (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jan-01, to lugnet.admin.general)
