Re: Holy time-zone differences, Batman! —Fredrik Glöckner
(...) Make that early in the morning! I'm usually not even out of my bed this early. I bet the differences in temperature/climate are interesting as well. In Oslo, we've had a week's period with -10°C so far this year, which is pretty much the (...) (26 years ago, 19-Jan-99, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Holy time-zone differences, Batman! —Todd Lehman
(...) I try not to. :) (...) OK, I'll go dig it up and reply to it and post the reply here. (...) Well, certainly the .test group is perfect for -discovering- issues. In terms of bringing them up for discussion, this group here is the best place*, (...) (26 years ago, 19-Jan-99, to lugnet.admin.general)

(...) Really? .test ng's are usually very interesting places. At least you very rarely have to wade through lengthy posts. Quick and to the point. "This was a test, don't read it". In and out, no muss, no fuss. Steve (26 years ago, 19-Jan-99, to lugnet.admin.general)

     (...) (Of course, .test is lickety-split (...) (26 years ago, 19-Jan-99, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Holy time-zone differences, Batman! —Jeff Stembel
(...) Kinda reminds me of the weather we've had around Washington, DC for the past two weeks: major ice storms! Over the weekend, about 250,000 people lost power because of downed powerlines and exploding transformers. Lemme tell ya, it's a real (...) (26 years ago, 19-Jan-99, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Holy time-zone differences, Batman! —Steve Bliss
(...) The weather here in West MI is pretty sucky -- it's supposed to be consistently in the high 30's and low 40's for next several days. In the first two weeks of this month, we got a decent amount of snow (more than we've had in years), and now (...) (26 years ago, 19-Jan-99, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Holy time-zone differences, Batman! —Fred Carcanague III
Eavestroughs??? Isn't that the same as 'rain gutters'? And does TLG make a decient piece for houses that will do the same thing? (26 years ago, 22-Jan-99, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Holy time-zone differences, Batman! —Steve Bliss
(...) Yes. It may be a regionalism. I only heard them called 'eavestroughs' when I was growing up. I don't think TLG makes a decent part for the job. Besides, you'd need a whole lot of them to do a whole house. Maybe a few long upside-down 1x bricks (...) (26 years ago, 22-Jan-99, to lugnet.admin.general)
