lugnet.com experienced an unscheduled service outage today which, according to the logs, lasted for approximately 68 minutes from 15:02 EST to 16:10 EST. Todd- Quick "style" issue with the map that I noticed - it's "body" color (or background) is not explicitly set to white (or whatever color you want) - so on all of my systems the main background color is a gray with splotches of color for "Regions" (...) Perhaps we should consider providing .debate as only an overspill bin for debates from other groups. This would prevent, to some extent, those who wish, at a whim, to create noisy and unproductive debates the ability to do so? I doubt it this will (...) (...) Nope, lugnet.com is not an NNTP server. lugnet.com is a second-level domain name. The machine which identifies itself as lugnet.com is a FreeBSD box which is _running_ an NNTP server. Todd, Whenever I try to set my posting address to bram@cwru.edu on the posting page, I get a LUGNET server error email back that says email mismatch or something like that. How can I get the server to accept bram@cwru.edu? It's a valid alias to my (...) (25 years ago, 5-Dec-00, to lugnet.admin.general)
