  Re: poll newsgroup

(...) Hmm, with that in mind, should the Micky Mouse sets point to lugnet.fabuland? That's where much of the discussion of them is occuring. (26 years ago, 8-Sep-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: poll newsgroup

(...) I would just encourage people to post about their stuff in the closest matching (e.g., most on-topic) newsgroup relating to their stuff. I see new Castle stuff, for example, posted to the .castle group almost daily. If someone's not interested (...) (26 years ago, 8-Sep-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: poll newsgroup

(...) I would think you'd simply want to direct comments into the closest matching particular group associated with the poll, ya? For example, a poll about Space stuff, direct that into the .space group where it's already on-topic. That's what we (...) (26 years ago, 8-Sep-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: poll newsgroup

(...) PS, I have no idea where you would want to put it. Definately not under announce.brickshelf, since the comments would most likely not be announcements. Actually, a newsgroup for discussing things people post to the gallery would be nice too. (...) (26 years ago, 8-Sep-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

  poll newsgroup

How about a newsgroup to discuss the polls on brickshelf? I could put a link directly to the newsgroup from the poll results page. The ideal case would be for comments to be associated with their specific poll, but that would require me to write (...) (26 years ago, 8-Sep-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

Concering Fan-zine project. Would ypou be prepeared to host it?

Hello Todd, As you by now are probably aware, My name is Alex Farlie and I am attempting to start a fan-zine with a Lego(R) slant.   Link Updates

As time allows, the following links need updating: At *.lugnet.com/cad/ldraw/ and *.lugnet.com/cad/ldraw/parts/: "Official LDraw Releases" should point to (URL). At *.lugnet.com/cad/ldraw/tools/: "LDraw Add-On (LDAO)" should point to (URL). Thanks! (...) (26 years ago, 6-Sep-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: Loading of Lugnet

(...) Ah. Right there in front of my nose all the time. Thanks (...) Indeed. Kind of what I was driving at, or at least that's the story I am sticking to. ++Lar (26 years ago, 5-Sep-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

link to "World Map" on lugnet.loc is broken

Hello Suzanne & Todd, I've discovered that the link to "World Map" on page (URL) is broken. It (accidentally ?) points to (URL) , while I think this should (still ?) be (URL) M. Moolhuysen. (26 years ago, 5-Sep-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: Loading of Lugnet

  Re: Loading of Lugnet

Re: Pruning not good for the trees

I'm not sure where the best place to hang this in the tree is, but here it is. Many people have argued that now that the information about the 2001 sets is openly available, Lugnet should not bow down to TLC's request to remove the information. My (...)   Re: Loading of Lugnet

(...) Using the "View raw message" link (just above the "Reply" icon) will show you the message in monospace. I'd rather not see FTX allowed in posts, because newsreaders won't know what to do with it. The web interface is very nice, but I still (...) (26 years ago, 5-Sep-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Pruning not good for the trees

(...) This may be a dead horse, but I'm just reading this thread now. I think part of the muddiness is that Larry is talking from the side of how the law will be applied. A word can have a very different meaning in court than in Webster's (or (...) (26 years ago, 5-Sep-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: Loading of Lugnet
