How do transactions coming through a firewall show up? Don't they tend
to show up as a single IP address (or at least a very small set) for a
whole group of people?

Better solution would be an altogether completely different one which took votes only from registered lifetime members and let people optionally spread their vote across more than one site if they (...) (25 years ago, 22-Feb-00, to lugnet.admin.general)
