Well, I know that I've contributed to this, and I'm a wee bit sorry,
but not overly so. I've corrected the followups once or twice, but
then I've responded to messages from people who did not, and I
forgot to doublecheck on this, so it went out to the wrong groups.
I'd like to say I'll promise each and every time I respond to
something to make sure that some random group isn't in the
followups, but the reality is I won't, nor will anyone else.
So will I look at messages, especially in this thread, and try to
not send them out to the wrong groups (or more correctly, respond to
a message that is already in several groups, some of them wrong)?
Sure I will. Will I make it my mission in life to doublecheck every
single message I respond to in order to make sure it goes to the
right place? No, and I shouldn't have to - that's what the
reader and/or server software is for.
