I am afraid I have to announce another downtime for tomorrow (July 3rd, 2008) between 7:00 and 12:00 GMT. It appears that one of the disks on our RAID has gone faulty and just to make sure we don't run into any data losses, I have requested the (...) (17 years ago, 2-Jul-08, to lugnet.admin.general)

In order to keep you all updated: We have completed the RAID rebuild and everything is back to nominal. I have also applied some long-awaited optimizations to the backup process, which will hopefully level out the load peaks we observed around (...) (17 years ago, 3-Jul-08, to lugnet.admin.general)

I'm sorry but there is a small update in the aftermath of the server maintenance (few of you may have noticed): Due to a misconfiguration the mail2news-gateway has malfunctioned for the period between yesterday, July 2, 21:00 GMT and today, July 3, (...) (17 years ago, 3-Jul-08, to lugnet.admin.general)
