If you stop by my blog, a ways down on the
right hand side I have a listing of community sites, many of which have forums.
None of these is all encompassing, like Lugnet in its prime - most of them focus
on a particular theme (e.g. castle, space, brick films, etc.) or a particular
nationality/language (e.g. Lowlug (Dutch), 1000Steine (German), etc.), so you
dont get the one stop shopping aspect, but many of them have thriving
communities. Most of these will have a General LEGO forum in addition to
their more theme-specific forums. While there is some appeal to the
one-big-site approach, I do think the growing trend of the past few years is
towards this multiplicity of sites, each nurturing a particular aspect of the
community. Im a particular advocate of Classic-Castle.com, of which I am an admin, and would invite you to check out
our forums.
