Issue regarding Moderation of Folders —Iain Hendry
Hi all, (Uh, I couldn't post in lugnet.announce.brickshelf, so I have no idea where else to post this. Hrm...) A few weeks ago, I started an account on Brickshelf to display some of my projects. About half of them have videoclips in them. Within an (...) (19 years ago, 4-Mar-05, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Issue regarding Moderation of Folders —Tim Courtney
(...) That is a tough one...from past experience BS questions [1] are usually posted in lugnet.publish--but you're right, there is no clear place to post them. (...) I've heard a rumor (and I don't have the specifics on this) that video clips aren't (...) (19 years ago, 4-Mar-05, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Issue regarding Moderation of Folders —Iain Hendry
(...) Oh yeah - that makes total sense, I guess I was more curious as to why it took a lil' longer (or forever, either or :) for the folders with them to get an "OK" stamp by whoever does the stamping. Iain (19 years ago, 4-Mar-05, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Issue regarding Moderation of Folders —Dan Boger
(...) I believe that's mostly because looking through a bunch of thumbnails to make sure everything's kosher is much easier/less work than sitting and watching video after video. A pure picture folder can be moderated in a few seconds. A folder with (...) (19 years ago, 6-Mar-05, to lugnet.admin.general)

(...) Okay, but um, I guess then my question becomes, why then when I uploaded say, 10 folders with videos at the same time, 5 of them did get moderated, and 5 didn't. That's where my confusion lies :) All the clips are about the same duration, and (...) (19 years ago, 6-Mar-05, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Issue regarding Moderation of Folders —Mark Papenfuss
(...) Video files are not currently supported. Check this folder for an example: (URL) it says: "Multimedia files have been temporarily disabled. Please try again later." when you try to view a video. M (19 years ago, 6-Mar-05, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Issue regarding Moderation of Folders —Iain Hendry
(...) Gotcha - but that still doesn't mean much to me, because I don't make a link between them being available and being moderated? I guess I don't understand how the moderation actually takes place. (I hope I'm not coming off the wrong way on this (...) (19 years ago, 6-Mar-05, to lugnet.admin.general)

(...) That would be Kevin Loch :) I'm sure he'll be happy to accept LEGO and Beer as thank-you notes! (19 years ago, 6-Mar-05, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Issue regarding Moderation of Folders —Orion Pobursky
(...) Actually, video formats are still supported. The ability to access movie files is turned off during peak hours (I forget what the definition of peak hours is). -Orion (19 years ago, 6-Mar-05, to lugnet.admin.general)
