My apologies for the unsightly quoted-printable content (='s followed by
hexadecimal digits)...  My message contained the string "u n s u b" (only
without the spaces), which caused the lego-robotics@crynwr.com mailing list
server (ezmlm) to reject the message as it exited the lugnet.robotics gateway.
Russell passed the message through ezmlm by hand but somewhere along the way
it was converted to a different content format.  For those tuning in via lego-
robotics@crynwr.com, here is the original article in a readable form:

Nice work! :-)

I'd rather see the headers sorted by title instead of time. That would put
all the "Droid development kit" messages next to each other.

I'll log that as a requested feature.  I need to wait a bit and see if people
actually start using the digest features before allocating more time to it.

BTW, if things were sorted by subject-line, then there would be repetition,
which could be collapsed, so perhaps instead, a simple addition would suffice
instead of a replacement:  for example, a list of topics/threads, such as:

The thread-summary at the top could be excluded in cases of very small digest
messages.

Another nice
thing was if you could (optionally) send HTML mail, and instead of a simple
title list you could make them be internal links to the messages.

I was thinking of someday maybe giving the option to have the messages sent as
they appear on the web pages.  This would have the advantage of showing a
graphical representation of the threads below the message.

Using <BASE HREF="..."> and MIME/HTML, it should be possible, and from there
you could just click the Reply icon.

Another possibility might be sending the individual messages in RFC 2046 MIME
digest format for people with splitters.

I'd like to second the following request (digest form, sorting by title). However, I'd be unlikely to use it until it could manage threads. Sorting by threads is my best way of dealing with the volume of this list in a reasonable amount of time. (...) (25 years ago, 22-Feb-99, to lugnet.robotics)
