nod - spiders can harvest LUGNET for email addresses. There's really
nothing anyone can do about it, either. For one thing, if we hide the
email addresses in the web interface, we will lose an important
functionallity - the ability to send private messages to people. But
more importantly - it would be meaniless, since you cannot hide the
email addresses in the NNTP interface.
The only thing you can do is to use a spamblock'ed address when you
post. And even that would be probably too late, as your current address
is already posted.
Sorry,
Dan
