I appear to be affected also. Normally I receive the posting confirmation
request email within a few minutes of posting a message. I'm still waiting
for a confirmation on a message I posted by NNTP nearly a half hour ago.
Would it be counterproductive to have a way for members to log in to the web
site and confirm NNTP-posted messages without having the scrambled message
ID that's sent in the email? Would that partially negate the point of having
the confirmation email?
