Re: The LEGO Company is invited to post everywhere!

(...) Me too! (except that there is no LTC in Copenhagen) Play well, Jacob -- Girder bridge: (URL) (22 years ago, 30-Jul-02, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: The LEGO Company is invited to post everywhere!

(...) Okay, these little icons are *too* cool! *I* want one for my LTC! :-) -John (22 years ago, 30-Jul-02, to lugnet.admin.general)

Error (sort of) in the DAT download CGI script

It looks like the CGI program that handles direct access to LDraw files posted under "lugnet.cad.dat" needs to be updated. It removes sub-model lines (type 1) referring to files with a ".ldr" extension. See these messages for two examples: (2 URLs) (...) (22 years ago, 30-Jul-02, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: Current Admins

(...) correct - you will see a logo only if I post from a dan@lugnet.com address. For obvious reasons, a post about Peeron updates doesn't come from that address :) Dan (22 years ago, 30-Jul-02, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Current Admins

Out of curiosity, who are the current admins. I noticed that Dan did not have a LUGNET logo next to his name. Or is that because he does not post with a LUGNET domain address? Jude (22 years ago, 30-Jul-02, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: News/Discussion Group Traffic (Fri 26 Jul 2002)

I must say, this is one of the nicest traffic reports I've seen in quite some time.. [snipped due to length] :-) -Suz (22 years ago, 26-Jul-02, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Brad J Brickfest 2002 Keynote Speech synopsis

(...) It was also posted to lugnet.admin.general, if you look more carefully. It should've been a FUT, not an Xpost, but it *is* the right place for this sort of thread... --Bill. (22 years ago, 24-Jul-02, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Brad J Brickfest 2002 Keynote Speech synopsis

(...) Well, the fact that you think it's cool to make a public examination of my behavior or character traits is rather annoying. And the statement was qualified in weird ways that made it a fairly backhanded compliment if that's what it was (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jul-02, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Brad J Brickfest 2002 Keynote Speech synopsis

(...) Again, why bother me? I was not the one making the possibly ad hominem attacks. -- Hop-Frog (22 years ago, 24-Jul-02, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Brad J Brickfest 2002 Keynote Speech synopsis

Re: Brad J Brickfest 2002 Keynote Speech synopsis

I trimmed lugnet.events.brickfest and left admin.general. I see Todd pointed his FUT to off-topic.debate. I'm not sure I'd send it there, this seems more at this point to be about what is a personal attack and what isn't... (...) If you took this as (...)   Re: Brad J Brickfest 2002 Keynote Speech synopsis

(...) Ok guys, take this to another group -- like .off-topic.debate or something. This part of the thread isn't about BrickFest anymore... --Todd (22 years ago, 24-Jul-02, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Brad J Brickfest 2002 Keynote Speech synopsis

(...) No, you began with a statement that I think was intended to imply quite specifically that I am a whining child. It was also in direct reply to my own post. As it turns out, I don't take offense because I don't even know you nor do I care what (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jul-02, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.admin.general)

Re: possible bug in membership page...

Sorry.... I didn't really know!! It was a couple weeks, and I saw new names. I wanted to read some of the "biographies" of the "newbies"!! :) ....just for curiousity sake...   Re: possible bug in membership page...

  possible bug in membership page...

Hi, just trying to point out that there is a glitch in the members page. It only goes up to member 1660, where as the on the main page, there is member 1691. I was just wondering if you were made aware of this potential bug in the system. Thanks, (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jul-02, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: why no ".dat" email digests?...

Todd and/or Suz, I'd like to have a feature added to the email subscriptions page, whereby I can _choose_ to subscribe to a group _and_ all of its subgroups, as _one_ digest... Please? Thanks, Franklin (22 years ago, 10-Jul-02, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.admin.suggestions)

Re: internal server error in guide

(...) Hmmm, this means an internal inconsistency has been detected in the data. An rebuild tool is analyzing the data now... Things should be restored to normal working order in a few minutes... --Todd (22 years ago, 8-Jul-02, to lugnet.admin.general)
