Re: Is lugnet.castle the place for stories?

I third the motion for a .castle.ballads subgroup. I love the stories, when I have time for them, and someday I will hopefully post my own. But most often I check out the root .castle just to get MOC ideas, share my own, and perhaps discuss (...) (24 years ago, 21-Mar-02, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Request for Implementation of FAQ Reference

(...) I agree with all of the above except for the use of the term "violator".. those folks made a mistake, an honest one, in many cases *after* trying to figure out how to do it right, if we want to be friendly we shouldn't think of them as (...)   Re: Crossposting FAQ, why, when and how to crosspost

(...) This is a restatement of a previous recommendation: (URL) think this will address the issue you raise, -Rob. (24 years ago, 15-Mar-02, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Crossposting FAQ, why, when and how to crosspost

(...) You are correct, and what I plan to use it for in large part is to write shorter posts "after the fact" when giving guidance. Instead of explaining the whole thing all over again, I'll just say "multiple posting is not the best approach, (...) (24 years ago, 15-Mar-02, to lugnet.admin.general)

Request for Implementation of FAQ Reference

In support of the recent cross-posting FAQ entry: (URL) recommend that: 1. a note be added to the new post script ((URL) under the "Post To: and Request Followups To:" boxes in red warning against multiple posts, with a link to this FAQ (opens in a (...)
