(...) Is it so that you are the one updating the Lugnet site? There are some DACTA sets not covered in the setlist but which are on the Pitsco site. ...craters built of bricks... That was me that posted that on RTL, and now I feel a little silly. I should have recognized those as craters. Duh. Guess I let my imagination run away with itself! Take a look at: (URL) shows the set using a crater baseplate, while the instruction scans show a plain grey baseplate with craters built of bricks. Are there any other sets which have such a wide difference? Does anyone know when this change took (...) (25 years ago, 23-Sep-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.database)

The name was previously given incorrectly in the database as "Technic Control Center II" but an actual copy of the box (the "mostest" official source) says simply "Control Center" on it. (...) The box reads simply "Control Center", and that's the name entered into the database. "Control Center II" (no "TECHNIC") is a LEGO Shop At Home name, as can be seen from the scan for 8485. We're going from the box. Curiously, there is an admin note (...) (25 years ago, 14-Sep-99, to lugnet.admin.database)

(...) Wow, 1982 was an awesome year for town, space, and castle! I hadn't realized just how good of a year it was until I saw all of the sets in one place. Lego reuses good ideas. The Maersk set sleeper cab is also 5 wide. Also, I believe one of my favorite tow trucks has a 5 wide equipment bed: (URL) recall getting a bunch of these when S@H was blowing them out in early 1998. Aspiring builders of 5 (...)
