| The box reads simply "Control Center", and that's the name entered into the database. "Control Center II" (no "TECHNIC") is a LEGO Shop At Home name, as can be seen from the scan for 8485. We're going from the box. Curiously, there is an admin note (...) (25 years ago, 14-Sep-99, to lugnet.admin.database)
