(...) willing to "borrow" pictures from Brickset). (...) I wish we could see a merging of the data from Brickshelf and Lugnet. Lugnet in general has a better engine, but Brickset is definitely more complete in many areas. Frank (24 years ago, 26-Feb-01, to lugnet.scala, lugnet.admin.database)

  Re: newsgroups search modifiers ?

(...) There's now a little round blue question mark link graphic that takes you to a help area on searching (just added a few minutes ago). (...) I'm no expert, but I think I know what you mean. I've had a similar sounding history. I'll mention it to Todd, trying to reproduce the trouble I had. -Suz. (24 years ago, 24-Feb-01, to lugnet.admin.database)

  Re: newsgroups search modifiers ?

  New Scala sets

I just got my Belville 5831 today and it came with a catalog sheet showing four new Scala sets (no names provided of course - September 2001 release date): 3121: baby carriage, large dalmatian, baby, red parasol, green basket, red teddy bear, a few (...) Todd, Is there a page that explains/defines what are the valid modifiers to a newsgroup search request ?   lugnet.technic.classic?

Hi, Todd. I use the web interface regularly, and am getting a bit peaved, nay, p***ed off with having to wade through all the bionicle posts.   Re: Pictures for set #3032 - No interest?

(...) My head tried to parse "Cisco Aeroport 340" as a LEGO set. Three digit set number? Was it an old, old town set? Given the spelling, was it a Europe-only set? I was very confused. Congratulations, though. eric (24 years ago, 20-Feb-01, to lugnet.admin.database)

I'm using the DB to seed my own collection database. Very, very useful. Thanks. I'll have a number of updates to post once I spend an evening verifying them. A couple of suggestions, though.
