  Re: LegoMecha- Curator of .build.mecha

(...) Dave, That certainly is the most thorough sidebar I've seen in Lugnet. It's great to finally have a curator around to update the links when they no longer work. Anyway, I'm sure the community appreciates your service build.mecha. Thanks, Dave! (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.admin.curators)

  LegoMecha- Curator of .build.mecha

Hello everyone! I'd like to thank Suz for appointing me as Lugnet's newest curator. I'm curating .build.mecha and I'm looking for any tips other curators might have for me. On a similar note, I'm also looking for ideas to implement in the sidebar (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.admin.curators)

  Aquazone Sidebar

I'm not sure who looks after this, but could the link in the aquazone sidebar for Soaking Wet be changed to the new address... (URL) you! Felix (22 years ago, 24-Jun-02, to lugnet.admin.curators)

  Re: Curator List

(...) Yes. It's a good idea, especially for emphasizing groups that would most benefit from some attention. That *open* link could appear on the group's page itself too. We can do that once there's a curator FAQ of some kind for interested parties (...) (22 years ago, 19-Jun-02, to lugnet.admin.curators)

  Re: Curator List

(...) fixed. thanks. -Suz (22 years ago, 19-Jun-02, to lugnet.admin.curators)

  Re: Curator List

(...) Would it be possible to add groups that are available for curatorships (real word?), these could be designated *Open* with a link to a curator application. -Rob. (22 years ago, 17-Jun-02, to lugnet.admin.curators)

  Re: Curator List

(...) I get a File Not Found error when trying to use the link in the sidebar, but the link Dan posted works fine. Jeff (22 years ago, 17-Jun-02, to lugnet.admin.curators)

  Re: Curator List

(...) (this doesn't help the general case, but...) believe me if I knew someone else had some of those organization specific groups and was actively editing them, me getting at them and making contradictory changes would be the LAST thing you'd have (...)   Re: Curator List

(...) right, I should. I'm in denial because I wish it didn't work that way. :-) (...) I can set those groups up for other people, but I haven't yet figured out how to prevent you from getting at them too. but I'll look into it. thanks. -Suz (22 years ago, 17-Jun-02, to lugnet.admin.curators)

  Re: Curator List

(...) Cool. One thing, you might want to put on that page is a note reminding people that curatorship of a group implies curatorship of groups below in the hierarchy unless overridden. At least that's how I THINK it works, anyway. I say that because (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jun-02, to lugnet.admin.curators)

  Re: Curator List

By popular demand, we now keep a viewable list of current curators and their groups, accessible via link in the admin.curator sidebar (same as URL below). Thank You Dan Boger! -Suz (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jun-02, to lugnet.admin.suggestions, lugnet.admin.curators)

  Admin for Sculpture Area

Hey there! I fired up the sidebar at: (URL) just a suggested start, really. I'm hoping someone might want to take it from here. If so, great! If not, that's okay too. Let us all know if you're interested. -Suz (22 years ago, 17-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.admin.curators)

  Re: comments in FTX ?

(...) Okay, I will do the way I was doing before, in a hidden file. Maybe in a future version of FTX ? But it seems that most of the comments symbols are already used ;-) Gael (22 years ago, 12-Jun-02, to lugnet.admin.curators)

  Re: Curators of Nations

(...) Hi Suz This is a great idea, those groups look excellent, especially the Canadian one. What are the requirements? Do you need to know FTX? I would love to do it myself, unfortunately I don't have the time. I do have a habbit of overcomiting (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jun-02, to lugnet.admin.curators, lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.loc.au.sa.ade)

  Curators of Nations

Hello there! A few national .loc groups have gained curators recently, and I thought you might enjoy seeing their fine handiwork. I think they're doing a fabulous job!   Re: comments in FTX ?

(...) This is a really good question. I wish I could answer it.. :-) I want to say yes. ..knowing Todd, there are probably 5 or 6 ways to add comments that only he knows about. Yesterday I asked him via e-mail. I'm sure we'll hear back soon. -Suz (22 years ago, 6-Jun-02, to lugnet.admin.curators)

  comments in FTX ?

I was wondering is there is any way to have a part of the FTX code as comments ? On /loc/fr I have the web site of the week. And I'd like to be able to prepare it in advance, but don't want to show the next weeks stuff. I know I can always have (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jun-02, to lugnet.admin.curators)

Re: FTX on my own server ?

(...) I'm also pleased to announce that I'm the new curator of /loc/fr. As you may already have noticed, my english is not too bad and I think that might help. Hopefully, the french Lego fans will show more that they want a big communauty. I was (...) (23 years ago, 10-May-02, to lugnet.admin.curators)
