  Re: Damaged MINT Lego?

(...) recognition, obviously a manufacturing mistake. Another type of 'mint' damage is scratching. I opened a new 1789 Star Hawk II with many of the pieces badly scratched, as if from extremely rough handling. The box however had absolutely no (...) (25 years ago, 30-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Bulk parts selection?

Thanks to the LLC bins and a friend with small child, I now have a half pound of tan 2x2 and orange 1x4. This was my entire collection for a few weeks. (The rest is far away.) Then I got some special pieces like one blue 1x2 and two red 1x6s. All (...) (22 years ago, 11-May-02, to lugnet.legoland.california)

  New LEGO Parts for AFOLs.....

Re: LEGO being used in politics! (help me in my dilemma)

(...) In my opinion, bricks are long enough in the tooth to be considered more of a "medium of expression" rather than just a toy. A mere brick is pretty dull in and of itself.   Re: Drawers vs tilt-bins and scratching?

I'm more concerned about keeping the bricks out of direct sunlight. I avoid tiltbins for a different reason: I can't fill them up as much. If anything, I'd like to move to a system that has large opaque drawers, say 28" x 20", which can hold any (...) (23 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.storage)

  Bulk Ordering Allowed in USA!
