(...) bricks. (...) Yep, it sounds like a vintage light brick. Check out DK's The Ultimate LEGO Book towards the front where the timeline starts. Somewhere in the 1960's you'll see a picture of the light brick. You've described it exactly. - Sean (24 years ago, 16-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)

  Wow!

Wow, old printed bricks are worth a pretty penny: (URL) of those is almost $20 per brick, the other is about $15 per brick. Very interesting! One of my co-workers is a math geek - the next time I see him I'll ask him about this problem. I think it falls under the category of math known as combinational topology. (...) Blocking's fine Michael, as far as it concerns standard-issue LDraw Values (0-16, 24, 32-48), but I think it would be nice to change color values to make them look like a vast improvement, such as 57 being made into a better looking (...) (24 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.cad)

(...) While this would be very helpful, some method of precisely controlling the thickness, rather than the color, of the edgelines while rendering is something I consider even more important. It may be harder to do though. ++Lar (24 years ago, 29-Mar-01, to lugnet.cad)
