  New Bulk Color Available... Brown!!! Slopes and Bricks!!!
 
Folks, I may be daft and missed this but there are some new bulk bricks and slopes in the Spring 2000 catalog. They are all Brown!!! (URL) only downer is there arn't 1x4 bricks or 2x2 slopes but I am not complaining. I have other sources for the 2x2 (...) (24 years ago, 20-Feb-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego.direct) !

When Lego sloped bricks came out in 1958, TLG created an entire system of slopes, namely 13 different ones. Hi all, I just had a thought. Would it be possible to make a little tool that generates an LDraw file with random placed bricks? John, Is there some reason to put 20 levels of bricks other than to use up all those bricks in colors nobody likes? The only thing I can think of is so that you can drop down 20 layers to make a subway, but it seems cheaper to just build a platform (...)   Great Finds at LegoLand CA Pick-A-Brick
 
I just got back from LegoLand CA and found a lot of nice pieces. The prices is $6.99 per 1/4 pound, which is quite expensive, if you can find the bricks in a parts pack or on BrickLink, but a few bricks seem worth the price (see below). You might (...) Thanks for the tips! I have it all figured out now. Something so simple as LEGO bricks can bring such complicated solutions. Well, it's simple really.
