| | Re: MOC Trains Cars and Buildings
|
| (...) A good point, I forgot to mention sources of instructions. Jacob (Jake) McKee's 'Bricks on the Brain' Instructions Portal was a good source, but it seems to be experiencing problems at the moment. Here's a direct link to a livestock wagon I (...) | Kelly- This is great! And more importantly, you beat me to it! I was down at that very PAB wall a while ago and bought myself loads of red headlight bricks and 1x4 dark red tile. I have the first two floors of a building built with this exact same (...) (18 years ago, 26-Feb-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

| | Re: Motorized bulldozer complete

| Thanks Eric and Doug! The shock is to hold the track taught at just the right perimeter. It also allows the track to turn smoothly. The dozer can twist in place (one track in reverse-one forward) on smooth surfaces, but can't do so on carpet since (...) (18 years ago, 27-Feb-07, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

|
| Pick-A-Brick is our friend. I'm an excellent procrastinator. Over the last month or so, I've been surreptitiously working on an actual physical brick MOC, when I should've been doing other things. You can tell me if it was worth it. The design (...) (18 years ago, 26-Feb-07, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.town, FTX) !!

| (...) (snip) (...) Nice work on the Cab Forward. My goodness it is long! The SNOT windows up front look good. I'm impressed that this baby gets on well through curves, points, and has all the working running gear. Great job putting it all (...) (18 years ago, 26-Feb-07, to lugnet.trains)

| | 6 wide Cab Forward 4-8-8-4 Steam Loco
|
| Here is my version of a Cab Forward 4-8-8-4. My goal was to make a 6 wide one with working pistons and rods. Hopefully it would go around our BayLTC Layouts and maybe through points. Our tracks run four studs from the sneeze guards and eight studs (...) (18 years ago, 24-Feb-07, to lugnet.trains) !

| | Tunnel Mouth / Bridge Arch
|
| The tracks from the Snowmobile 8272 and Bulldozer 8275 make a great tunnel mouth or bridge arch - smoother than using slope bricks. (URL) used 27 links at the moment, fixing them twice on each side. The arch as built fits well over 6-wide, 8-wide or (...) | (...) Sadly, it's not that the molds are wearing out, I'm pretty sure it's that the molds are smooth. This has been noted also on the 2x2x3 slopes as well, and probably other slopes too. I'm not sure what the reasoning is behind it, other than to (...) (18 years ago, 24-Feb-07, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

All of your work is great, I'm just a big NA freight fan, so I get extra excited about that stuff. I agree the nose on these wide-cab GE units (...) (18 years ago, 24-Feb-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)
