I remember a LEGO Parrot model from one of my sons' old Brick Kicks magazines, but now I cannot locate it. Alas my storage consists of a file folder. The kids closets have been given over to camping equipment for scouts, and Mom is forced to admit (...) (26 years ago, 7-Oct-98, to lugnet.build)

Bricks "like you want 'em" Sale starting

Got a fairly good response to my mini WW parts sale, so I'm starting a brick sale. You'll find white, black, red, yellow, and blue of all sizes from the silver anniversary buckets. Buy as many or as few in whatever size you want. Comments or (...) (26 years ago, 16-Dec-98, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

(...) Actually, that's the way proxy bidding should work, IMO. Equal bids go to the earliest bidder so the first bidder should only have to meet, not beat, a challenger in a proxy war. Doug (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

OK, I posted an auction. Feel free to bid but it's not for real (there is a reserve price, in the dollars, for a single 1x2 brick). However I don't see it when I refresh the "new list"... is there a lag on that? Also I had a deuce of a time getting (...) (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

Also, when you post a lot your conf says "as confirmation of your bid" instead of "your lot" There is a lot of funkyness with the fonts, that's for sure, the same line of menu options is different font styles in different places.
