Re: constitutional discussion (was:Re: Gun debate (was Re: New Web Page

(...) No particular LP stance. Divisive issue, but we're a big tent. There are those of the libertarian persuasion, including myself, who are not convinced that soverignity requires territoriality, that is, that only one governmental system should (...)   Re: Rollercoasters

(...) Hands down on quantity would have to be Cedar Point, "America's roller coast(tm)" per their PR, Sandusky Ohio(on Lake Erie) with 12. It has some really good ones. Raptor may be the finest inverted steelie ever built, and Magnum 2000 the finest (...) (25 years ago, 3-Jun-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: Cracking down on unauthorized image links

(...) Whoops. Sorry, I did not state that very well. I realise the amount of traffic is significant. Very significant. What I meant to say, let me try again, was that the argument that the links are likely to change, which is a good "utility" (...) (25 years ago, 3-Jun-99, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Cracking down on unauthorized image links

(...) Wow... head spinning here, thinking about this. Isn't this just about the same bandwidth load? Only lightening is that some people won't click on the link, so the image won't be served up. Any thoughts on what % "some" is in the above (...) (25 years ago, 3-Jun-99, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: Counting parts

(...) That's Terry C. Terry Cruse. HE has a lot of parts. But Conan has more, I am convinced. We think he has around 2.3 Million elements or more in his collection. We (the GMLTC) believe it to be the largest privately held collection extant, other (...) (25 years ago, 3-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) I'd be interested in Gary's guess of his. My very rough guess of mine is .3-.4M pieces. That's based on volumetrics, and cost, although some of my acquisitions drive my per piece cost up (500 dollar airport shuttles at 75 cents a piece and so (...)
