Hello Brad, I noticed the return of the Black assorted Roof pack, and was thinking, What A wonderful chance to have them made in Lt Gray! They have all the Slopes in 45 degrees that we would need, of course I would prefer Bulk in Bulk orders, but (...) (23 years ago, 27-Dec-01, to lugnet.lego)

I just received today the Consumer Affairs package to send the defective pieces back, so I will keep everyone informed as to what happens. I just purchased 7 sets of stairs from the 4709 set and all the stairs were OK I purchased 2 sets before that but they were not built so I could comfirm. It seem to me that the majority of bad stairs are in the smaller set. Its totally random. Mine (...) (23 years ago, 21-Dec-01, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.general)

(...) This issue was an easy fix, and will make the stairs not slide at all. Of course what WOULD have been nice was for Lego to have the bricks where they do not slide. Oh well. P.S. I know what you mean, Pic isn’t necessary Doyle (23 years ago, 20-Dec-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)

Your missing the point, it isn't the sliding, it is that some pieces, 26% in my case where a totally different key system and when using these bricks they leave major 1/16th in. gaps in between the steps. Lego is already planning to replace (...) (23 years ago, 19-Dec-01, to lugnet.harrypotter)
