Apparently according to the latest Makro Mail you can buy 2 sets and save 10%, another poor offer I suppose. This is way cool. Is there anyone else here from the Outlet capital of the world? By the way I am proud to announce that this summer my 7 year old son and I bought our 100,000th piece of Lego. Looks like Lego has updated their on-line catalogue - I noticed a couple people posting with new things they saw up, and I think, from some of the things I saw up, that they've added all the currently available 1999 sets - I saw two of the new Ninja (...) 10Hz is nowhere near fast enough to control a train motor using PWM (pulse width modulation). You need at least 100Hz, and higher would be better. Any of your suggestions will vary the speed of a motor, but the most common is varying the duty cycle. (...) (26 years ago, 29-Oct-98, to lugnet.robotics)

This would probably be a bad idea but I had fun considering it: Lego bricks with silkscreened photographs on them -some possible uses: * build a picture with bricks, like a puzzle * neat patterns printed on bricks to be used anywhere * rearrange the (...) Just a note here as Fred Meyer is local to the Pacific NW. They are having 20% off of all LEGO through Oct. 3rd.
