Advice Needed in Choosing the Best LEGO Mini Solar Panels?

My plan is to build a small solar farm as part of a train display, using ten to twenty of the solar LEGO solar panels and connecting them together in a series to maybe power a wind turbine, so some of electrical powered item as oppose to using a (...) (15 years ago, 3-Sep-09, to lugnet.technic)

  Advice for selling entire collection

After a lot of debate, I have decided to sell my entire Lego collection. My set list is here: (URL) not sure of the best way to go about it. I have saved the instructions from almost every set I own.   Re: Western Maryland "Russian Decapod"

Your attention to detail is always amazing! This loco seems to be a great use for BBB medium drivers. I have to also say that it looks very impressive against Jeramy's Dark Red roundhouse. I had fun helping out with their layout and running my PF (...) (15 years ago, 16-Aug-09, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Has anyone considered molding track ourselves?

(...) I think someone needs to just go to some plastics manufacturers (molding, 3d printing, whatever) and say "this is what we want, how much would it cost for a mold or design and how much would it cost per unit" I think that if someone said "We (...)   Re: Has anyone considered molding track ourselves?

(...) There has been a lot of DISCUSSION on molding new track, but what we need is an actual demonstration of a technique that works and produces a real product. Anyone producing good quality 9V LEGO compatible track will find that there is a (...) (15 years ago, 27-Sep-09, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: LEGO train poster

(...) No, the train poster has not been kept up to date. Unfortunately it was a one time run. Like the Train catalog, LEGO found that it didn't really affect the sale of their products materially so it wasn't worth doing even as a "good will" (...) (15 years ago, 30-Aug-09, to lugnet.trains)

McD's happy meals - LEGO racers

The boys Happy Meal toys at the moment at Rotten Ronnies are "LEGO" Racers. I use the quotes because although they have the LEGO logo, and a few studs, they make a car about 3.5" long, 2" wide and 1" high with three big pieces. I guess they are (...) (15 years ago, 21-Aug-09, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: Advice Needed in Choosing the Best LEGO Mini Solar Panels?

(...) Well... first, if you connect 10 ten to twenty potentially 2V panels up in series, you're potentially cranking up to 20 to 40 VDC, but at other times you're going to have almost nothing for power. And if you connect all these in series, you're (...) (15 years ago, 4-Sep-09, to lugnet.technic)
