Re: Bright Future for LEGO Trains? (was Re:No LEGOFest...)

John and Robin have some really good points. Allow me to side in with my opinion. In some cases it is frustrating that LEGO doesn't sell the extended train product line through retailers. But for that to be effective, it would require knowledgable (...) (25 years ago, 27-Feb-00, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.trains)

Re: New 2000 sets in Lego.com European catalog!

(...) I found the best approach was to go into the European region, then to System, and click on the broken theme icons (these appear to be Arctic, Footbal, new SW Episode 1, and the new Castle sub theme) and there are all the new sets. Presumably (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) Yep, that's pretty much what they ask you to say. You can shorten it to just "LEGO bricks", if you want. <URL:(URL), of course. Of course, if you're polite about it, as a non-lawyer and non-Lego-employee, I advocate calling the product "Lego" (...) (25 years ago, 4-Jan-00, to lugnet.publish)

Re: Has Lego begun producing "war toys"?

(...) Lego actually produced a plastic, full size gun in the late 50s or early 60s. Also there were lighters with the Lego logo on it back then. I too, do not like the idea of weapons in Lego sets, they took a no violence for many years. There were (...) (17 years ago, 24-Jan-08, to lugnet.general)
