Has anyone thought about insuring their Lego collection through their homeowner's policy? I have begun documenting the sets I have and the number of pieces in each set (through Pause) to get an idea of the value of my collection. I know that it (...) (26 years ago, 30-Oct-98, to lugnet.general)

Some model builders that work for LEGO use "Plastruct". I found it at Pearl Arts and Craft in Cambridge, MA ... don't know where else you can get it. It is pretty thin and clear and can be painted onto the edges to fuse the plastic together after (...) (26 years ago, 3-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

I think it would be great if Lego were to sponsor a monthly contest based on their new Creator program. I was at Kmart's 20% off sale and was looking around at the Lego and I happened to spot a 6865 Planetary Decoder from the Explorien Series(redundant) The box was slightly smashed and had a rather large hole in the side, so when I went to pay I asked (...)
